The Simmons line of adjustable beds come with a manufacturer’s warranty that can protect you in the event you find the bed damaged or defective in anyway. We want to make sure you are aware of what the Simmons adjustable bed warranty’s do and do not cover. You may be surprised by some of the things you may have thought in your mind would be covered but actually are not.

Adjustable bed warranties are a little unique in that there are more moving parts. The more the movement the greater risk for damages and the greater number of things that can actually brake. Not all adjustable beds have a motor that needs to be serviced.

The Simmons warranty only covers defects to the product from a structural standpoint like the framing, the computer that controls movement and the actual motor itself. The mattress and the moving parts lifted above actually have different warranty lengths. While the mattress is guaranteed for 3 years the more technical pieces are only guaranteed for 1.

What you may be more surprised about is that the warranty covers the actual parts, but does not cover the transportation of the equipment to the home. So while the service is covered getting the repair man or Simmons adjustable bed parts to the home are not covered. After the initial warranty any questions you have will go into a quote and requests to have things fixed will be serviced like any other service call.

How do you get service or additional Simmons adjustable bed parts? The first thing you need to do is file safely away the paperwork that goes over your warranty, big companies don’t keep track of that for you because it costs them money, you must have the original copy. Call the customer service number for Simmons, (852)-237-4848, there is a typo on their site btw. Then if that wasn’t hassle enough you need to present both an invoice, and the warranty letter to the service technician.

Here are some things they DO NOT include in the warranty;

The base of the bed, the plug or the wire.

If they deem the mattress has been soiled or used improperly. (aka they can’t re-sell it.)

You can’t have a body imprint of more than 1.5 inches.

If they deem the product is shipped outside a legitimate service area.
